Chloe lies on the sofa and watches TV. She is bored and always changing the channels. Sometimes, she looks at the kitchen.<\/p>\n

About half an hour later, Steven brings a plate to the dining hall. “Miss Chloe, dinner is ready.”<\/p>\n
Chloe immediately gets up from the sofa. On the way to the dining hall, she could smell the food.<\/p>\n
And when she walks in and sees the pork chop rice on the table, she gets really hungry.<\/p>\n
Steven hands her a pair of chopsticks. “Taste it.”<\/p>\n
“Even though it smells good, it might not be delicious.” Chloe snorts, “You’ll leave soon!”<\/p>\n
Then she eats a hot pork chop.<\/p>\n

Steven could only tell the truth. “I know you are picky about food. I also cooked the last meal. I lied to you that it was takeout.”<\/p>\n
“Did I tell you that?” Chloe says angrily.<\/p>\n
“Mr. Smith told me.”<\/p>\n

Chloe goes back to eat the pork chop, sulking.<\/p>\n
Louis tells Steven everything and even sends him to take care of her. But Louis has never asked Chloe if she’s okay with it.<\/p>\n
Steven pulls up the chair and sits beside Chloe. “So, can I stay?”<\/p>\n
Chloe wants to say no, but she’s worried that she would not like the food Betty cooks after Steven leaves. So, she just snorts and ignores him. She is focused on eating pork chops.<\/p>\n
Steven is very patient. He sits beside her and watches her finish the pork chop rice. He is very thoughtful and pours her a glass of orange juice.<\/p>\n
“Have some juice.”<\/p>\n
Chloe takes over the orange juice and drinks more than half of it before saying slowly, “Yes. But only if you can cook whatever I want. Don’t go to my bedroom. Don’t touch my things.”<\/p>\n
Steven agrees. “Anything else?”<\/p>\n
“And leave me alone!” Chloe glares at him and raises her chin. “My boyfriend is very strong. He can knock you down with one hand! You don’t want to touch me.”<\/p>\n
“You have a boyfriend?” Steven’s face sinks. He says in a cold voice, “Since when did you start dating him?”<\/p>\n
“It’s none of your business. Just remember that he’s a real badass!”<\/p>\n
Steven grabs her wrist and looks as if he’s going to eat her alive. “Where did you meet him? What’s his name?”<\/p>\n
“You’re hurting me!” Chloe frowns and is about to cry in pain. “Let go of me!”<\/p>\n
“If you don’t tell me, I won’t cook for you anymore.”<\/p>\n
Chloe shouts, “Louis hired you and asked you to be my bodyguard. You don’t get to ask me about that! How dare you talk to me like that?”<\/p>\n
But Steven is still grabbing her wrist and glaring at her coldly, so her face twists in anger.<\/p>\n
“My boyfriend is Coffey. He’s very strong! If you don’t let go of me, I’ll call him over!”<\/p>\n
Hearing this, Steven gets relaxed.<\/p>\n
He lets go of Chloe. Then she rubs her aching wrist.<\/p>\n
She gives Steven an icy glare. “Now you’re scared? If you do it again, he’ll ruin you!”<\/p>\n
“Yeah, I’m scared.” Steven nods and smiles. “He’s indeed a badass.”<\/p>\n
“Then why are you smiling?” Chloe glares at him and says angrily, “Do you think I’m lying? I’ll call him right now!”<\/p>\n
“No. That child seems to be five or six years old. Mr. Smith can’t hide it if he has married for so long.”<\/p>\n
“Yeah. I remember that Mr. Smith is dating Ms. Hester?”<\/p>\n

“Tell me what you want to do.” Louis does not buy it and says expressionlessly, “Why did you come here?”<\/p>\n
Chandler sits down and goes round in the chair. “To be honest, I’m just too bored. I came to play with you.”<\/p>\n
“Why don’t you play with Chloe?”<\/p>\n
“She always hits me. Even if she loses the game, she also hits me. I don’t want to play with her.” Chandler mutters, “If I stayed with her for a few more days, you might not see your lovely nephew again.”<\/p>\n
Louis’s face darkens. “Don\u2019t you live with Lily? She’s not at home?”<\/p>\n
“Lily has been out for more than a week.” Chandler says, “She has a fianc\u00e9. She must live with him. I can only play with Chloe. Who knew that she would always hit me?”<\/p>\n
