\u201cDavid, good evening!\u201d Kay says nonchalantly, \u201cAre you still in the Smith mansion having dinner with Mr. Smith?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNo, he made me leave.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kay acknowledges quickly and asks again, \u201cThen, are you at home?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cMr. Smith won\u2019t let me stay with him, so of course I have to come back. I took a private plane and got home in an hour. But why are you asking me about this? Why do you care about me?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cDavid, my cousin! Of course, I should care about you!\u201d<\/p>\n
On the other end of the call David sneers, \u201cCome on, do I not know you? Your parents are at my house. They were just showing off that you found a girlfriend, asking me why I haven\u2019t found one yet.\u201d<\/p>\n
Through the call, Kay can feel David\u2019s grievances. The elders must have said a lot.<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay, you go deliver the stuff quickly!\u201d David doesn\u2019t answer directly and hangs up the phone.<\/p>\n
Kay chuckles.<\/p>\n
The more David hides, the more Kay thinks there is a problem.<\/p>\n
\u201cOkay, but for now the focus is to deliver this.\u201d Kay mutters as he looks at the DSLR.<\/p>\n
Now that David has gone home, he can only risk his own life and go to Mr. Smith.<\/p>\n
When he is about to drive away, he suddenly remembers that today is the New Year\u2019s Eve and Mr. Smith and Lily have broken up. If he goes over with Lily\u2019s things, would he be beaten?<\/p>\n
Kay hesitates in the car for a long time, then turns it off and locks it and goes back to Daisy\u2019s house.<\/p>\n
Daisy opens the door.<\/p>\n

At Kay\u2019s question, Yuna\u2019s eyes darken. She says in an obscure tone, \u201cHe probably doesn\u2019t want to see me. Can you please give it to him? It\u2019s not good for him to stay hungry.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kay asks her tentatively, \u201cAre you familiar with Mr. Smith?\u201d<\/p>\n
Yuna hesitates for a while, then shakes her head resolutely, \u201cNot quite familiar.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kay is still thinking about it when the door opens. Louis stands there, wearing dark gray casual clothes. He is staring at Kay with a pair of cold eyes, intimidating him.<\/p>\n

Kay suddenly gets chills down his spine. He hurries to put on a smile, \u201cMr. Smith, are you busy? My mother was afraid that you were still hungry so I brought you dinner.\u201d<\/p>\n
Louis raises an eyebrow, \u201cYour mother knows me?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNo, I spoke wrong. I meant, my mother-in-law.\u201d Kay realizes he just blurt out without changing her title, \u201cYou still haven\u2019t eaten yet? Should I bring it in for you? It\u2019s quite heavy.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNo.\u201d Louis\u2019s face sinks, as he reaches out to close the door, his tone even colder than before.<\/p>\n
Kay quickly wedges his foot in the door and says emotionally, \u201cMr. Smith, you and Miss Lily broke up, but my mother-in-law still cares about you.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cShe heard that you were busy with work and did not eat. She spent hours in the kitchen, made so many dishes and soup and asked me to bring it here for you.
