Louis realizes that Lily is having a hard time catching up. He then takes her phone away from her.<\/p>\n

Louis puts Kent on loudspeaker so that Lily could also listen to their conversation.<\/p>\n
Lily then listens to their conversation while she eats. Louis simplifies many of the jargons on purpose along the way. In the end, Lily has finally able to catch up to the content of the conversation.<\/p>\n
After hanging up the call, Louis returns the phone to Lily, \u201cYou hasn\u2019t been involved in the industry before. It is only normal that you don\u2019t understand the jargons. David will send you some relevant information. You will learn from it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cMr. Smith, are you abusing your authority for your personal gain?\u201d David purposely voices out, \u201cIf Miss Lily needs information, she should look for it in HZ Group, why should we give her the Smith Group\u2019s?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThose information HZ Group has isn\u2019t good enough,\u201d Louis squints his eyes and replies David coldly, \u201cEat, and speak less.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lily leave David\u2019s house after chilling at his place after lunch. She has to finish all the information David passes to her as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
After Lily Left, Louis is leaving too.<\/p>\n
David stops him with a sincere smile on his cheeks, \u201cMr. Smith, you have already wasted the whole morning today. You might as well spare me a few minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n

David quickly explains, \u201cMr. Smith, this is not an ordinary dog. It is a German Shepherd. It is intelligent, and it can guard your house for you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat about when you go out? It could help you to carry stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI have a driver.\u201d<\/p>\n
Everything David says gets rejected by Louis. David starts to feel exhausted. Suddenly, he has an idea, \u201cMr. Smith, did I tell you that Miss Lily gave it a name? It is called Rich.\u201d<\/p>\n

David continues, \u201cMiss Lily wanted to adopt it, but her house doesn\u2019t have a yard. It isn\u2019t suitable to be kept in an apartment either. She named the cat Lucky, and the dog Rich. Don\u2019t you think the names brings good luck?\u201d<\/p>\n
Louis dodges the dog emotionlessly when he sees it trying to approach him.<\/p>\n

Under the persuasion of David, Louis is holding a cage with a German Shepherd puppy and some dog food in it when he leaves David\u2019s house. It looks like a perfect picture, but Louis doesn\u2019t seem very happy.<\/p>\n
On his way back home, Louis keeps looking at the cage that he put on the passenger seat. The German Shepherd puppy looks at him and shakes its tail. It\u2019s like it is saying that it wants to come out and play.<\/p>\n
Louis looks away and pinches between his brows, \u201cI must be crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n
Louis hates animals, but he adopts one now, just because Lily likes them. His limit keeps changing based on her likings.<\/p>\n

Lily is speechless.<\/p>\n
Lily promises herself that she is never going to come out with them again.<\/p>\n
When Lily arrives at the office, she starts to process all the documents that have been left on her desk for two days. Her assistant comes in after a while and informs her that she made an appointment for Lily and the person in charge of the Fansian Company this morning.<\/p>\n
Lily quickly brings the contract she prepared along with her assistant and heads straight to the coffee shop.<\/p>\n
The Fansian Company imported the equipment from D Country, and they are very efficient. However, the price of the equipment is too costly and HZ Group doesn\u2019t really need a large quantity of the product, so they planned to outsource the project to the Fansian Company.<\/p>\n
The Fansian Company had collaborated with HZ Group and the Smith Group before, and they had a smooth collaboration back then. When Lily approaches them with a humble attitude, the person in charge makes a call and then signs the contract almost immediately.<\/p>\n
The person in charge of the Fansian Company leaves right after he signed the contract and refuses Lily\u2019s offer for lunch. So Lily sends them out from the coffee shop.<\/p>\n
When Lily is about to get a cab back to the office, someone calls her name from behind.<\/p>\n
There is a woman who dressed elegantly smiling at her. She looks classier than the other women on the street.<\/p>\n

Lily doesn\u2019t know how Daniel\u2019s mother knows about her. Out of courtesy, she walks into the coffee shop again with Daniel\u2019s mother and finds a seat beside the window.<\/p>\n
After they are seated, Daniel\u2019s mother asks, \u201cI heard that your parents divorced when you are young and that you are taking care of your siblings alone?\u201d<\/p>\n
