\nA Flash Marriage Can Be A Treasure novel Chapter 202<\/p>\n
When Lily wakes up, her head is heavy and her throat is sore and painful.<\/p>\n
She sees that she is in the hospital patient room with Daisy knitting a sweater beside her. She uses her strength to push herself up to sit on the bed.<\/p>\n
She says with a hoarse voice, \u201cMom.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cLily, you\u2019re awake!\u201d Daisy tosses aside the things in her hands and says with an expression full of worry, \u201cYou had a high fever for three days, and your brother and I were worried sick.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThree days?\u201d<\/p>\n
Daisy nods and pours a cup of water for her, \u201cYes. The doctors gave you several injections and none were effective in reducing your physical temperature. In the end, a doctor named Justin gave you an injection.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cCome, drink some water.\u201d Daisy hands the glass to Daisy and asks, \u201cHow do you feel? Is any part of you uncomfortable?\u201d<\/p>\n
Lily shakes her head and drinks half a glass of water.<\/p>\n
Lily finds out from Daisy that both Daisy and Coffey remained by her side these few days to care for her. This morning, Coffey received a call and left when it appeared that there was some issue in school.<\/p>\n
Daisy is still concerned and asks the doctor to examine Lily. She also buys some porridge for Lily.<\/p>\n
Lily survived on glucose these few days and her stomach is empty. After the doctor confirms that she is fine, she quickly finishes the porridge and gets out of bed.<\/p>\n
Daisy wants her to lie down, \u201cYou should stay for a couple more days, just to be sure.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cMy fever has subsided. Why should I remain here?\u201d Lily says. After sleeping for three days, she should forget about those issues and there are more important matters for her to handle.<\/p>\n
On the way home, Lily remembers that she had thrown away her cell phone and goes to buy a cell phone and replaces her SIM card.<\/p>\n
A call comes through as soon as she activates the phone.<\/p>\n
\u201cLily, where are you?\u201d Jessie asks anxiously, \u201cI called you these few days and the phone had been turned off. I went to your apartment and your neighbor said that you had moved sometime back. I was worried sick!\u201d<\/p>\n
Her concern for Lily warms up Lily\u2019s heart, as she replies with a raspy voice, \u201cI had a small cold. Come over for dinner after work, I\u2019ll give you my new address.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhy wait after work? I\u2019ll head over now. I have a lot of things to tell you.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOkay.\u201d<\/p>\n
The doorbell rings soon after Lily and Daisy arrived home.<\/p>\n
Lily opens the door and sees Jessie bending over as she pants. She looks at the lift and asks, \u201cI\u2019m on the 28th floor. Don\u2019t tell me you ran up the staircase?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s too troublesome to wait. I can get some exercise by running up the stairs!\u201d Jessie says. She looks at Lily from top to bottom and back to the top. She almost hugs her as she says, \u201cIt\u2019s great that you\u2019re fine.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lily laughs and invites her into her apartment.<\/p>\n
Jessie asks Lily and confirms that she is fine before saying, \u201cOh my lord, who would expect President Smith to give the Smith Group to his aunt!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAs soon as Olivia took over, she replaced almost half of the senior management. Those who were on good terms with President Smith were fired. Even Leigh was fired.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lily is expressionless and simply acknowledges, \u201cThat\u2019s to be expected. She wants to train her own people. Were those deputy general managers fired? How is the price of the company\u2019s stock?\u201d<\/p>\n
She still remembers what Jason told her before he died.<\/p>\n

Looks like Carmen has strong backing. With all the personnel shuffling in the Smith Group, he remains steadfast in her position.<\/p>\n
But why did he kill Leon?<\/p>\n
Jessie immediately leans over to hug her gently, \u201cYes, don\u2019t even think of that rascal! Our Lily is beautiful and talented. There is no lack of suitors! Tomorrow I\u2019ll ask my uncle to recommend men, from sixteen-year-old virgins to thirty-year-old mature men for you to choose!\u201d<\/p>\n
Lily says with disdain, \u201cSixteen year olds are still students. I can\u2019t bear to date them.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cJust raise him for a few years.\u201d Jessie grins mischievously as she raises her eyebrow, \u201cIt\u2019s the rave now. Furthermore, someone that you raise will be obedient and faithful to you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jessie remarks, \u201cI almost forgot. Your brother is also a hunk. Isn\u2019t he still in school? This chap has eluded me twice. Till now I have not met him yet!\u201d<\/p>\n
Lily also remembers when she says this.<\/p>\n
