Ophelia stared at the boiled egg on her plate. To be honest, she wasn\u2019t a big fan of boiled eggs, but still, she was secretly delighted that Zachariah would have someone to cook this specifically for her. Even though she knew full well that it was nothing more than a strategic move at being nice to her by Zachariah, she couldn\u2019t help but fall a little deeper for him.<\/p>\n
Picking at the boiled egg, Ophelia said, \u201cI assume you haven\u2019t had breakfast yet, either, now have you, Mrs. Miriam? Why don\u2019t you sit down and let\u2019s eat together?\u201d<\/p>\n
Mrs. Miriam replied smilingly, \u201cDo enjoy your meal, ma\u2019am. I\u2019ll grab a bite later.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI think of all of us here as a big family,\u201d insisted Ophelia, \u201cand you\u2019ve been working here for two, approaching three years. So stop with these polite formalities; we\u2019re closer than that.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mrs. Miriam had no choice but to sit down.<\/p>\n
